2. Introduction of Dream Team at Westin Bangkok Hotel
Let me introduce the two main characters of Dream Team. On the right side of the picture below, K. Sven, F&B Director, on the left, Executive chef K. Chanawin.
These two made what is now Westin. Sven’s imagination and inspiration are realized through the Executive chef Chanawin. Sven has a deep and wide understanding of food. His experience working in Asia and Russia, including Korea, is reflected in his work. And the leadership of the Executive chef is very famous in Bangkok’s hotel industry. His team, which moves like “One” body, is proving his leadership with phenomenal results.

3. The importance of communication
In particular, the two have excellent communication skills. For the past six years, Korean food has been served at the breakfast buffet for Korean guests. After the pandemic, Korean food has become a trend. The Westin Bangkok Hotel has become famous in the Thai hotel industry as a hotel that serves delicious authentic Korean food.
The hotel is not only nice to me, who is a regular guest, but also serves all guests with the utmost care. The evidence is the chocolate praline in the picture below. How many hotels do you know that make and serve more than 3 kinds of chocolate praline every day?

Since 2017, I have told the hotel the importance of Korean food. The hotel accepted my suggestion and studied popular Korean food and specialized it for the Westin Bangkok Hotel. Galbi and stir-fried spicy pork are Korean foods loved by all guests.

If you have a chance, you should come to the Westin Hotel and try Korean food. The two menus I recommend are Kimchi jeon with shrimp and squid and Kimchi fried rice with bacon. I’m sure you’ll feel the real taste of Korea.

Thanks to this communication, I also got to know the pride of Thailand, Home Suwan Pineapple. I didn’t even know that this delicious pineapple existed on Earth. Thanks to K. Chanawin’s careful consideration, I learned more about the food culture of Thailand.
