Executive Chef k. Bird
I met him when I visited Phuket in September 2021.
At the time, COVID-19 was in vogue. So I chose the sandbox program in Phuket instead of quarantine stay in Bangkok. I asked Ismael where the breakfast buffet had the highest level in Phuket. Ismael didn’t hesitate to recommend the Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Hotel. At first, I was suspicious, but I decided to stay based on my friend’s advice.

As everyone knows, this hotel is a four-star hotel. I definitely thought that this hotel’s breakfast buffet would be smaller than a five-star level. But it was just my prejudice.

– Outstanding planning ability of Executive Chef
During my 15-night, 16-day stay in the sandbox, I could taste fantastic food every morning. Basic dishes were served very faithfully. There are so many options in omelet station.(photo#1) And I could even taste smoked salmon in this four-star hotel. Finally, I could enjoy delicious icecream. It’s amazing!
In addition, new dishes reflecting Thai traditions were also served every day morning. The same food had never been served throughout my stay. It’s pretty good! Wow~! It’s the blood curd soup!(photo#4) In Korea, we have the same soup!
I had this idea when I finished my stay. The food in this hotel has a faithful background. And the chef painted beautiful pictures on it.
So who is the chef who prepared such an amazing breakfast?

Chef k. Bird is a good listener. So his attitude always makes me very comfortable and happy. He accepts the positive feedback very quickly. You can see the development of the food level on your next stay.
Even though I didn’t ask, k. Bird prepared delicious Kimchi fried rice for me. It’s pretty warm-hearted service. And his club sandwich is the best in Phuket. Texture and taste are really good. And you can feel the flavor of avocado in it. Sometimes I visit this hotel by taxi to eat this sandwich. As you know, the taxi fare of Phuket is very expensive. But this club sandwich is worth it.
In addition, he knows the importance of hospitality as the executive chef. You can see the chocolate cake with sugar decoration. And there is the hand- written welcome card of k. Bird. It’s the most wonderful gift to me.
Personally, I’m really looking forward to the next Phuket trip. Above all, I can’t wait because I’m so curious about the hotel’s breakfast buffet food.
